Kre-O, the saga continues :-)

So here it is, still cosy wrapped in plastic. The 2015 comic con exclusive G.I.JOE Kre-O set with Sgt. Slaughter and Pimp Daddy Destro.

It also contains the rest of Slaughter’s Marauders and some nice henchmen for Destro.

One of my all-time favorite figures, Voltar, is also included. I’ve had this figure since I was a kid and sure he’s dressed in hot pink and has a pet vulture. There is something about that figure that I liked ever since I opened the plastic back in the day.

For now, I’ll leave them all nicely wrapped up in the box. I will be upgrading the Man-Attic to have more display space for my Joes. As soon as that is complete, I won’t be able to resist building the triple-t and setting the figures up.

As always, happy collecting and Yo Joe!

Skystriker patch 1988 – Belgium exclusive

image

Apparently we have an exclusive G.I. Joe product here in Belgium. The 1988 Skystriker patch.
It was a mail in action that cost 9 Flag Points and the equivalent of € 1 in stamps.

I’ve been collecting them and am willing to part with them now to generate some extra cash for expanding my 50th anniversary collection and vintage Joes.

If you’re interested, let me know. I can ship internationally.

In search for Marvel Comics

Hi all,

I’ve had the opportunity of purchasing a large amount of comics from a collector who has given up on Joe collecting (shame on him!). With these comics, I have expanded my comic book collection significantly. These comics not only included most of the Marvel comics, but also some of the DDP and IDW comics I was missing.

I still have a few issues missing now (of course I have all the TPB’s and have read them all). If anybody can help me find the following single issues, let me know in a reply or contact me through Twitter (@EuropeanJoes).

Happy Collecting and YoJoe!

Kre-o presentation

Hi all,

for the time being my Kre-o’s have been stuck in a Detolf cabinet, but the collection has been growing so that I will need to add some extra shelves to it. I found some ideas on the interwebs already on how to do that and as soon as I can physically get near the figures again (see my previous post), I’ll start on that.

For now, I want to share this great idea from Ikeahackers. Check it out:

http://www.ikeahackers.net/2012/02/ribba-lego-minifigure-display.html

I think it will look great to have a G.I. Joe and Cobra frame on the wall 🙂

See you soon!
